The Journal of Theoretical, Computational and Applied Mechanics (JTCAM) hosts innovative research in the field of solid mechanics. With a strong focus on open science, JTCAM is one of the first open access diamond journals in the community.

The journal publishes theoretical, numerical, applied and experimental research contributions. Topics of interest are varied: nonlinear mechanics, dynamics, damage and fracturing, mechanics of materials, plasticity, constitutive modelling, wave and vibration propagation, interface mechanics, fluid-solid interactions, multi-body systems, biomechanics. While rooted in mechanics, the journal strives to link with a wide range of scientific disciplines beyond engineering, including applied mathematics, numerical methods, materials science, applied physics, geophysics and earth sciences.
